    I believe those will only display one way (dp as the outport and hdmi as the in I believe?) so make sure that's the way the setup is. if it's the reverse I don't think it will work.... which would explain the no signal thing.

    You are plugging in going from displayport on the GPU to HDMI on the TV? That would be the right direction and if that still isn't working you most likely need an active adapter like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S0C7QO8/?tag=thtv02-20 and similar.

    I'm missing 1/4 of one of my back molars insurance won't cover any of the work needed to fix it but will cover pulling it haven't decided what I'm going o do about it yet but it stopped hurting after it actually broke off (must have been cracked or something for awhile) So just letting it alone until it is painful again
