    Mostly, I just repeatedly escalated the plan until he gave up. I started off with just a dinner that was him/his gf plus me&matt. Then I suggested inviting this other couple we like. And might as well invite blah blah...and the next thing he knew, it was a birthday party.

    I kept it light and fun! The birthday cocktail only made everyone feel dizzy after one glass and all the foods were hand held!:emoji_imp: I was so excited that I kept dancing, cause I'm a goob.
