    After further contacting I received a reply:
    "The reason for the rejection is that you answered one of the attention check questions incorrectly. "

    why do their surveys not have an attention check that simply stops the survey and lets the user return the HIT? this is very poor design that doesn't allow you to return a HIT if you fail only 1 of 2 attention checks, instead letting you complete the survey for them to issue a rejection later. i would avoid working for these people unless they bring their survey construction up to the standards of the rest of the entire site.
