Hey ChrisTurk, I have been on the grind for a long time, but was inactive for many of it/lurked a ton. I mean, my account over there (with the same name) is 2 days younger than TissueHime's account (we were both in the 2013 club)

Oh geez. Sorry for the misleading time, then. I only had maybe 15 questions and two reading sections, and one was easy and the other was familiar to me. Maybe I'm not depressed enough. Tell that to my brain, lol.

Also I'm sure at this point we're still all MTGers/MTG lurkers/ex-MTGers.

This ^ For the most part if I see someone untagged I just tag them lol.. Just did another go-round so should be updated.. Might start waiting to verify since the site is on reddit/HN now but the little banner bestows no extra features or anything, its just for funsies.

 

When I go to www.turkerhub.com I get an error page that the site cannot be found. I had to follow the link on mtg. It is probably something I am doing...but just so you know.

I thought this was just me.. INTERESTING. Thanks for the heads up, gonna have to look into this because I've never used this domain registrar before so I may have "oopsie'd" a setting.

 

www is a subdomain you need to have to redirect to turkerhub.com

On a side note.. when you have the time you should look into getting SSL working on this site or you will lose google chrome users shortly. (or at least some)

 

Should just be matter of setting a 'www' CNAME in your DNS settings

 

Was this just a box you click and it submits? I was distracted with a baby jumping on me and spazzy cause the 5 minute timer. I guess I should really slow down.

 

Yeah people just don't realize what exactly www is.. it isn't anything special or magical.. it is just a sub domain that for years people used for external access.

 

I've never had to manually setup www access before though.. And I've run quite a few websites (albeit never with Google Domains).

Happened to me too. Typed it in without the "www" and it worked just fine ...
