This error message appeared after I clicked the final link at the end of the survey:

Unfortunately I had already submitted the HIT (with the correct completion code, of course) to MTurk. — (Oops. I keep forgetting that even AFTER getting a completion code, I should NOT submit any survey HIT to MTurk, until AFTER I've clicked the final button or link on the survey site, to make sure there's no error in the survey site's final data recording step. ... My bad! – I should know better, I do know better, but still I've been making this mistake lately. ... I shall now go bang my head against a wall until I've either learned this lesson or given myself a concussion.)

I emailed the requester to let them know what happened. — If they can't pay me, that's OK (I'm willing to play the unpaid tester role once in a while), but I hope they won't issue a rejection.

Well this took a strange turn at the end (that I'm sure would be @ChrisTurk approved)...

 

My options include 1200, 1300 or 1400 miles. Seeing as how I drove 5000 miles in two weeks last year, I think I'll sit this one out, sadly.

 

All 500 of mine approved.... You should try emailing them to see if it was a technical error?

 

I'm in full weekend mode in my mind but I'm stuck doing adulting things all day. none of it is even fun adulting things. :cries: I need your wednesday state of mind.
