I have Ubuntu studio set up on my main HDD, but I wanted a live distro on a flash drive for turking so I can do it on other computers, and Puppy is the smallest I could find.

I know shit about Linux but this worked on an old laptop that was too dead to run Windows anymore lol.

 

Mint is good, It's Ubuntu with all the multimedia shit you end up downloading anyway

Ubuntu Mate is under 2GB and linux mint would likely work as well

Mint runs the same DE as mate by default I think.

 

I'll give you the same advice I give my other unmarried friends.

Yeah and now that Ubuntu dropped unity it at least runs a decent DE by default.
