I like the surveys that are like - "You are endowed with a dollar (referring to the base pay) for completing this HIT. Do you want to take a gamble in which you lose that dollar with a chance, or you may get a buck fifty?"

I know damn well you're not going to reject me and deny me my earned dollar.

Is this the naivety problems that mturk haters are complaining about? Perhaps they should learn a bit about the platform before designing their garbage surveys which yield garbage data.

Same. And I do a lot of surveys which everyone says drop in the summer with no students.

Still made about the same amount over the summer in the same amount of time. I made a little less over the summer, but I admit to working less, too, as I wasn't turking much in the late, still sunny, evenings.

September and October are traditionally way better months for me (this year, NOT due to surveys), but those are out of the average higher months.
