I know this may sound dumb, but I always donate to a worthy cause on behalf of my older relatives. They have everything and don't need anymore shit to pretend to like, so I donate, get a thank you card or receipt (no dollar amount on it), and tell them I donated on their behalf to a cause that is dear to them, or relevant to them.

Going to see Tool tonight and I've made enough to pay for parking, the subway, and some questionable street meat for dinner

 

I got my mom an induction charger. It came in a two pack, so she could put one on her bedside table and another she has over on her desk.

She has lost so many charging cables that getting her some stationary chargers worked really well.

 

I just booked my flights to the Winter Classic.

I have not made enough to cover any of it.

Ah ok, may not be that bad after all. I've seen a couple of them where they're like "we give you the honor of testing this paid software/class or w/e for free!"

 

I was going to go to the Leafs/Wings in 2013 in Ann Arbor, but then the lockout killed that game. They rescheduled it for 2014, but then my son had to go and be born

 

This would be really meaningful to me (for reference I just turned 50). A donation to St. Jude's or Save The Children Fund is something that I'd be very touched by, and would make me happy.

I went to the Avs/Wings outdoor game a couple years ago. It was pretty cool. The stadiums aren't great for games, but it's more about the experience. Tickets are pretty cheap too because all these people from Nashville buy them and then decide not to go.
