11/14 - Thornbush Thursday!

No matter how you cook your veggies, they'll never be as good as pizza... or cake.

 

We grow our own fruits and veggies. I am not a great/creative cook so that might be where I am going wrong. Maybe I need to get a new hobby in addition to gardening. Pizza just tastes better to me.

 

mmmmmm I've had a cauliflower crust pizza with veggies.

It's also learning HOW you like them. I hate cucumbers cut certain ways and love them in little cubes. But yeah, growing them or getting decent not crap veggies does help

I was forced to eat veggies when I was a kid. I refuse to now. Even the smell of vegetables makes me gag (except in soup, I love veggie soup and stew) I will cook them for my family, because they like them. I have to breathe through my mouth so I can't smell them as much though

Our mom never bought us fresh fruits and veggies as a kid. My aunts also cannot cook veggies, so yeah. None for me unless I prepare it myself.

 

Yeah my only veggies I remember growing up was canned corn and canned green beams. Canned veggies are the worst

After my mother died, I moved in with my aunt and uncle. They had a farm so we grew our own meat and veggies. She cooked and was known as a good cook, so I'm guessing it was just me. But her forcing them down my throat turned me off veggies real quick. I don't think I've had a plate of veggies since she kicked me out 23 years ago.
