Amazon support pulled the biggest switcheroo on me earlier this week.

I called customer service because they delivered my package to the wrong address. Someone answers the phone, didn't have to go through a phone tree or anything. I told the guy what happened, check the door picture compared to previous orders, and he said they would overnight a new order and issue a refund. Then asked if he could put me on hold for a minute while he placed the new order.

Five minutes later Indian customer support comes on the line and we go through this routine for 15 minutes


Sir the order is showing as delivered.

It was, but to the wrong address.

There is delivery confirmation.

I mean..... If I was dumb enough to work for 73 cents an hour I sure as shit would not let people know about it. I feels bad for myself even when I get stuck in a survey that I don't back out of early enough and it ends up bein $5 an hour.

 

Nope. Just ran some pandas and came back with the "fuck off" purple. I guess getting that broken one screwed me.

 

I spoke to a rep from amazon payments and they were wonderful, never mturk, sorry if my post was misleading.

No. The author only recruited from Reddit.

 

I've never spoken with someone from mturk but the one time I called payments the lady was super nice. She listened to what I had to say. Yes the response was generic but it's because she had no clue what was going on and it was during that multiple payments glitch. She did her best to listen even if she wasn't going to do anything with it anyway. I don't blame people at the bottom.
