she just got engaged a few months ago now she's not sure she wants to marry him and doesn't know what to do because she doesn't want to hurt him and then there is the fact that they live together, share finances and sooo many cats they rescued

 

At least she's acknowledging the fact she's not sure. She just has to figure out if she is getting cold feet, or if she truly doesn't want to. Prayers of wisdom for all y'all.

I gave her the all relationships have ups and downs speech and told her to be careful she's not throwing something good away because after 5 years the initial thrill is gone.. but also that she had to do what was right for her

I of course pointed out it would have been nice for her to have this epiphany before I paid the balance on their Disney vacation... but mom supports you no matter what

 

it's always amazing to me that your kids still come to you with their grown up problems you're clearly a good mama bear.

 

So that sounds like a wee bit more than normal girl "drama" at least in my experience!

Good thing she is talking to you about it. And good thing she is realizing this now. (Says a woman who has returned not one, not two, but THREE engagement rings. As much as I say I wish I had gotten married and wasn't single, my actions seem to prove otherwise, lol!)

It's fantastic she has you to talk to. Help her sort if this is just nerves or the real "Nope, this is not my lifetime mate" situation. Good on you, mama!

To top my day off pretty sure the dentist left a piece of my tooth behind (maybe why my jaw is still killing me) I can feel sharp edges and it is cutting my mouth and tongue. Really don't want to go through that again and don't think what is there is enough to grab hold of

That is a possibility, but sometimes, after a tooth is pulled, bone will work it's way up and out and can be quite sharp and painful. I would give it a day or two and if it is still there go have it looked at. Hope you feel better soon.
