A while back when I had a landlord, my furnace was being wonky and I had no fucking idea why. I opened the door to look at the pilot light and did my best as an idiot to figure it out.

Couldn't figure it out so had him come by to check it out.

The issue was when the door was opened there's a safety thing that prevents the furnace from working. So by me dicking around with the door open and trying to figure it out - that's what caused it to not work.

Was embarrassing.
