Yeah, they seem not to know how a queue works. Explain to them that you did not start working on the hit right away - you could even use your TV completion time to say you actually starting working on it at x time (their submit time minus TV completion time).

Hello, you may not be aware of how workers work, but we accept multiple HITs and work on them in the order of our choosing based on our own prioritization. It so happened that it took me 45min before I actually started working on your task. I don't know if qualtrics gives you the time spent inside the survey, but based on my own tools (link you review to TV), I spent less then 3min on your task. I would also suggest that if you don't want workers taking a long time filling your task (despite this not being an indicator of anything), you should reduce the timer so people don't think they can take their time.
