increased risk of infection at the implant site. My knee replacement has all ready been scrapped for other reasons but if it hadn't with all the dental work I'm having done now I'd have to be on a 2 year course of antibiotics to keep the joint from getting infected...who knew

 

something to do with all the bacteria in your mouth and implants are already at risk for infection and attract the bacteria

c-sats seem to be running on the hamster servers tonight

 

I had a helluva crazy day, won't go into it all, but it was rough.

Turns out, I've been dealing with some aches and pains and issues for a while now and I got chewed out from my doctor because I have things wrong. Fixable things wrong, but one requires antibiotics. And she's not surprised I've been feeling horrid and she said TO PLEASE STOP DOING THIS just dealing with stuff thinking I should be able to handle it and just come in and see her! (Part of it is due to the grief I deal with around losing my daughter.)

Anyway, I'm sure getting up at ugly hours to earn money wasn't helping my body heal.

Now I look like I live in my grandma's house and I have vials and vials of pills I have to take for a while at all different times of day, some with food, some without food, to try and get me back into shape. The size of the bag I carried out of the pharmacy was kind of embarrassing!



Have to go in for a bunch of bloodwork, one of the tests is fasting so I'll get to that soon, so pray for me that nothing else is wrong, lol.
