Hello. I recently started mturking not too long ago. I am still learning the ropes as I go. I have tried different scripts such as hit forker and jk panda, but I ended up enjoying using mturk suite much more. It is nice to meet everyone here.
I was the same way with MTS when I first started, but ended up switching after a while. I used weekends to get more comfortable with the PC/HF combo and then switched when I was happier with it. Make sure to check out the daily thread if you haven't already, it's where everyone hangs out. It'll be quiet today, but it's usually pretty hopping on the weekdays.
Hello Ornac. Hmm are there any particular reason why you ended up switching? This place seems like a pretty nice community so far.
It's been a while, but there's some functionality in PC that doesn't exist in Hit Catcher. The big one that I think made me change was search Pandas for things that don't drop in batches. Essentially making a Panda for the requester rather than the hit. Overall there's there are more options there as well giving better control. HF vs Hit Finder didn't make much of a difference, but you want to use the one that plays nice with your catcher.
