    For PT I'm assuming you're on for ~2-3hrs and coming out w/ $10-15/day (== the 300ish/mo x 20 days no weekend bs)?

    It's gonna be a little difficult because you have to work into sitting down and wasting the first couple of minutes firing things up and finding work, which is always going to be a straight up hourly black hole and disproportionately impactful vs someone available all day. If your hours happen to be off-peak the climb to decent earnings and having a "safety net" of work is gonna be a lot slower than someone pounding out FT. One of the reasons I mentioned TS specifically is because the whole diversification/finding what you're good at thing is important. I wouldn't block something just because it's red (except p9r, etc where there is no chance an American can find that work profitable because it's not meant for Americans to begin with) or someone calls it trash but this kinda applies to MTurk/platforms itself, make sure you're also on usertesting/etc decent sites that have work available to kind of fill in your downtime gaps. Like TS for transcription UserBob is a good intro to "usertesting" type stuff (or sticky.. but I think they're on their own platform now?)

    I know a ton of folks will say I'm wrong here because "eww survey", but I think for early stage PT'ers surveys > batches because you're going to have an awful time building the padding for actually going stupid into batches. A9s/Cis/etc aren't what they once were so I don't know of any "free" padding batches that are likely to be around during your smaller windows so running around trying to look through all the batches up when you could just do a $2 survey feels bad for me & I'd prioritize pandas accordingly but :dunno: def learn how to do it, don't just discard them entirely, but I also wouldn't just listen to the folks w/ 5yrs experience and the social nets who are like "omg batches 500/hr free money" and think that can be applied to your experience any time soon.

    Put reznyk, VRAPI, etc on your include list and try to grab the quals if they pop up but I wouldn't take the "build #s 1st" approach when you're severely limited to the amount of time you're ever going to be available to earn money.

    One of the biggest things I SWEAR for PT'ers is to do the @WimpLo => when you sit down 1x/wk or whatever make sure to do a scan of all the OLD garbage on mturk that you weren't around for. There are ALWAYS good surveys that need gigantic weird participant pools and they post once then rot for weeks. Some of them will end up opening up as you hit milestones too so something that was grey last week when you checked might be available later. There's no point taking notes here, it's all just dumb luck, but usually even I can find a couple bucks on a saturday by just reverse sorting by "created" and looking at all the old junk laying around. You don't need a script just go to mturk and sort by oldest => >20-30c => qualified to work on and see what's up. Takes 2min and a 1x/week scan is well worth it IMO.

    Sitting up for me atm:

    For part time survey mains, MLD is perfectly fine for building #s. Reddit loves them. They also never reject.
