Lol. I remember one they did earlier this year where the bonuses were close to 20 bucks. They never fail to dissapoint. If we all accurately reported the bonuses when we got them, thier hourly would be in the hundreds.

I have kids that never know what they want so Christmas is a ton of fun....

 

You must have teenagers then. When I was <10 years old, I could walk through Toys R Us and pick out everything I wanted. Those were the days. Looking forward to the christmas ads and circling all the fun toys you wanted for christmas.

 

So let me ask you guys opinion on something. My wife thinks when family comes over because a few of them have cat allergies and we have 4 of them...that we must lock them in our basement and then vacuum everything in our house and not run fans etc etc...

I kinda feel like well the cats live here, everyone knows we have cats....I wanted to say if you invited over someone that didn't like me would you lock me in the basement?

You're asking a forum full of cat lovers whether or not they wouldn't treat thier cat like a member of thier family and not an animal.

I get locked in the basement all the time when my wife's friends come over for book club, however I have a man-cave and I choose to lock myself down there. Having 4 cats in the house all the time, there is no way that simply cleaning before company comes over is going to help at all. My recommendation is to get some Bendryl for people to take and replace your AC filter with a higher MERV 10 filter. It will help reduce the allergens or whatever floating around the house.

 

Is it me or is the day so slow?

 

It's been very sporadic in the mornings these past few days. Even yesterday it picked up in the afternoon. It's the holiday slump where you gotta dive into the trenches to keep the money coming in.

 

Any one know how long it can take when you run the Qual Sorta for the first time?

 

Seems to be that way. Guess I'm going to find something to do. Even MLD data is not posting.

 

I have awful cat allergies. When people invite me to their house that have cats they normally put the cats away so that I can stay for a reasonable length of time.

But in general I just meet them in a neutral location or invite people to my house because no amount of cleaning or allergy medicine will keep me from getting an allergic reaction if the house has cats.

 

I'm super allergic to cats but I'd still say it's your house and you get to set the boundaries and make the rules for guests.

That filter suggestion though is great. And if you're going to vacuum, do it a day or two before to let the air settle afterward. Sometimes vacuuming stirs things up more than it helps lol.

(But in full disclosure, being allergic has never stopped me from wanting to pet or play with a cat. Here kitty kitty!)
