Can you tell me what's the diff between assignment ID vs group ID? Never heard of assignment ID.

My whole life to this point has been preparing me for this.

 

I could 100% type incorrect info here as I'm going on the fly & it's a complicated mess of overlaid terminology across the years:

Group id is the identifier for the entire instance of a project (also referred to as "batch" in some requester ui/doc but not in the colloquial term we use it as)
Hit id is the identifier for an individual HIT inside of a project
Assignment id is the identifier for an individual assigned HIT (because one hit can be completed by multiple workers)

The only reason hit / assignment are split is because you can have multiple workers complete the same HIT (for majority consensus / labeling / etc) so it's kind of confusing and the difference is minor for the worker but if you pull the wrong one from MTS & send it to a req your bonus/etc wont be processable. The terms have also slightly varied across time/documentation (for instance "hit_set_id" is now our "group id" but it's referred to as all three of: group id, hit set id, and project id depending on where in the requester/worker quagmire you are.
