    yup, was binging Watchmen then Mandalorian while waiting, i had them on panda but no dice

    jfc you know how many people i have to explain this reasoning to? its like yes its nice theres no clutter but can you SELL your DIGITAL GAMES? no. *I* can sell my physical copies of games and get decent money (i collect video games like a fiend and own a few thousand games and systems)

    tbh when the systems go all digital is where im done. my xb1 had a glitch a few months back and i took it in to the MS store to get it fixed (under warranty) and they tried to pull a fast one saying oh well we cant fix it but we can give you the all digital xb1..... lets just say there were chapped asses that day and i got my xb1 fixed under warranty like it should have been.

    I only asked because while this upcoming new gen will still have disc drives the ones after that probably won't so in the next 8 years we will be at all digital gaming and stores like Gamestop will be toast.

    I've actually been considering this very question and I think it depends for me.

    On the one hand, digital media is little more than a rental. If something ever happens to the places you download from, it's gone forever. On the other hand I love video games so I suppose it'll depend on rather they are still trying to charge me the price for manufacturing when I'm not having anything manufactured.

    For example: Shouldn't digital games right now be cheaper since there is less production cost? Why are the digital players paying the same cost as those making cases and disks? So long as I'm paying 'you make me a disk' prices, you best make me a disk.

    The big AAA companies don't believe in discounting for anything so they hit you with the same price regardless. The no disc production and such though is why there has been such a boom of indy games in the last several years. A bunch of people that could never do production just make a game and get it put in for digital download.

    Retro City Rampage is a good example, 1 guy made that game.
