Does anyone know how long it takes for someone to be timed out when doing (Team Decision Sciences) [$1.00] - 7 hours 11 minutes - Work on this HIT has to be started at a specific time. There will be bonus of up to 6 USD!

Or do they never get timed out and I am wasting my time waiting?

My tactic is to rub their tummies back whenever someone has randomly grabbed a pregnant friend's tummy like a creeper:emoji_imp:

OH! YOU DONT LIKE THAT? HANDS OFF, BRO! I WILL YEET YOU OUT OF EXISTENCE! SHOO SHOO!

@ChrisTurk I'm obviously not a parent because pets don't count, but I went to school briefly for early childhood ed. +1 on asking about biting (injury, fighting, etc policy). Might not be a concern yet because I'd hope an infant isn't going straight up feral on other infants, but with your blood in her...

Okay for real though. Ask about sickness policies. What can other kids bring in, what happens if your kid gets sick there, and what can the employees bring in there, and is there a nurse on hand. Obviously ask about flexible schedules, like you said, you might want to drop her off and pick up randomly, and some places aren't cool with that, others won't gaf. Some will have a late fee (I've literally seen it a dollar by the minute). How do they communicate with parents. What their hiring qualifications are (some go all in with degrees, some treat it as glorified babysitters. Degrees will be more $, but you don't want glorified babysitters. Their only qualifications are passing a CPR test. Some might be ok, but those are usually the ones that end up on the news for bad reasons). How much one-on-one will she get, and with whom, and for what (super important for an infant). What security does the place have, what are their cleanliness habits, what are their emergency protocols.

Basically, think of the environment you provide her now and see how they'll compare when you add in strangers+strange children+a separate facility that isn't your home, and pick the one you're most comfortable with. If you feel iffy about anything for any reason, 100% listen to your intuition and fuck outta there. Spidey senses are real when it comes to stuff like that.

Looks like this got pro/conned perty good. I would add that babies change and grow so quickly, it's really easy to miss out on some of those precious moments, e.g., first teeth, words, steps, etc.... Perhaps that would not bother some, but I always got a little butt hurt if I weren't present for some of those firsts and got the news second hand, it happens though.

The Rolling Stones were my first concert ever. I felt like such a badass getting out of middle school early for a concert, but the other kids were mostly like, "You're going to see oldies?" gtf outta here, yes I friggin am. Came back the next school day in a Rolling Stones shirt about 3x too big for me and still felt like a badass.

My first "real" concert (non-town festivals and state fairs and stuff) was the Gin Blossoms

I saw them like ten years ago in Prescott, Arizona. That was pretty neat, minus all the drunk hippies.

I am beginning to think surveys stink.

On another note, I've done two batches in the past two weeks.

My entire world is being turned upside down!

My mom would've pitched a fit if I'd asked to go to a concert at that age. That and also the usual "what, do you think money grows on trees?" excuse to never do anything. Though tbf, I didn't do anything at that age besides read books and think I was smarter than I really was.

Pros: They learn certain social skills faster, they get some immunity to diseases before starting school, they are out of your hair so you can work easier

Cons: you have to give your right nut to pay for it, that immunity they are getting comes right back to you in the form of mini-ebola because kids are disgusting, someone else is teaching your kids stuff (both a pro and a con), you miss them I guess kinda sorta

This is going to sound bad, but having a toddler around all of the time is what drove me from my own business to turking, where I didn't need to concentrate as much, or for as long
