    there is a trick to that!!! Make your regular payment. THEN make an extra payment of some sort and mark it specifically to be applied to "principal". You will be amazed at how fast you can pay that mortgage down and save some interest money in the long run!!! I've used this for houses, cars, etc, etc ... You just have to get some extra chump change together to do it with ...
