    Not crazy old, but not super new either. 1977 iirc? Very little has changed cause our landlord doesn't give a crap. We live in a very low income unincorporated area, in one of the two places that the engineers who work out here flock to. The house is meh, but the price is cheaper than living in the same sized house/yard 30 minutes away, and it's super easy for Matt to get to work, so we just jazz things up to save power haha. I went on a caulking/spackling mission during the summer because we had tiny holes EVERYWHERE that ants were literally crawling in my house thru at one point:emoji_rage:

    Yep I know that ant problem! We're still caulking/foaming certain areas because we still catch drafts. Nothing is level so that makes it a fun challenge to get the doors to sit right. When we first moved in you could see out the front door through the gaps. I'm still trying to find all the holes in the windows that the wasps keep coming in through.

    1750ish sqft. Not too huge but not itty bitty. Matt's workshop/garage space and keeping the pets warm/cool is my biggest power sink. The bot had a paint booth setup here for awhile...that boy needs to just buy stock in the power company! Our house in GA was like 3000 sq feet and was a pain to cool during the summer.

    Yea mine is nearly 3000 when you factor in the basement and the extra upstairs room.....my issue is my ceiling is 22 feet high that causes cooling problems.

    our house has an hvac unit that isn't even for a house as bg as the one we live in and is from like 1990? It is THE WORST! The fan keeps breaking and our landlord is like :emoji_shrug:

    Our house is def not level, either! And they did a HORRIBLE job the last time they refloored the place, so the floor isn't even. I can roll Frank's ball across the house cause of the decline :emoji_face_palm: I feel your pain, booo boo!

    I think most of you would hate living with me, cause I'm the power efficiency, water usage, re-usable everything/single use items banned, and "no, we don't buy pre-made food," tsar:emoji_laughing: When Matt's little friends come over and I have freezer bags drying out on my drying rack and I'm air drying things in the back instead of using the dryer, he basically internally dies :emoji_laughing:

    The bot says he can't even leave a single light on in the garage without my spidey sense going off. I'M SORRY, DO WE HAVE STOCK IN LIPA NOW, EH? Leaving an unused appliance plugged in is how you get cut in my house.
