The one problem with pre-shredded/grated is that they have something to stop the shreds from sticking (like, flour or cellulose) so you can run into problems with like...full incorporation. I wouldn't worry with that recipe, tho! It might be a little less smooth, but nothing I'd worry about much. Something like mac n' cheese, tho? SHRED YOUR CHEESE YOSELF, PEOPLE. MY ANGRY SPIRIT WILL APPEAR IF YOU MAKE MAC N CHEESE WITH PRE-SHREDDED CHEESE AND I WILL HAUNT YOU!

I make my Mac and Cheese entirely with what comes in the box, don't worry.

 

I had never even heard of the Witcher before I saw the show clip and I am only going to watch it because the leading character looks good.

My mom makes the best crock pot mac and cheese for Thanksgiving, but we always use pre-shredded cheese. Are you saying I now need to make two batches to do a direct comparison? Cause I think that's what you're saying. Double mac must happen, I've got no choice.
