    Yep. Parents moved me to a farm when I was 14. Once I saw the entire process of getting a small animal, half the time bottle feeding said animal, or caring for it for a REALLY LONG TIME, then some truck with some big dudes and huge knives shows up and whammo...said animal is hanging upside down right outside in your line of sight while you're eating your morning Cheerios?

    Yeah, I was totally over meat.

    I can't kill things so I can relate. I've killed one opossum in my entire life and I had no choice. When I was a teenager one grabbed one of our hens and was dragging it off by the leg. I ran up on the opossum thinking it would just run away...but it didn't. Instead, it ran faster and tried to get under our house (it's raised like...2 feet cause floods). I had to crawl under and...dispatch it..... with my hands because it refused to leave. I got the hen loose and it tried to run past me to grab it again.

    I got bit several times and people joke that I've had rabies since that point.

    Don't mess with my hens brah.
