The processing that is done automatically is very strict. I don't want a situation where a profile is incorrectly marked as affiliated with a university so the data:

• Has to be properly formatted
• Has to contain multiple pieces of information
• Cannot contain conflicting information

So it's always possible (although I'd say unlikely) that an IRB form exists for a particular HIT w/o meeting the criteria to tag the requester account. It'd give the user access to the consent form w/o marking the profile since it's a 1:1 relationship and all TV (the app) cares about is that you did the HIT (so the app isn't passing mildly sensitive data to someone who shouldn't get it) not what the info contains.

I know I also used my user name in my return address so it probably looked funny to someone not in the know!

One of my packages was just addressed to "Tricker" and my office person just handed it straight to me, lol.

 

I mean with even a tiny bit of foresight, I could have just used their real first name as if that's how I would normally refer to them, and she'd never have known

He was so confused the more I tried to explain it's from an online forum for work because I'm a freelance intelligence agent for Amazon, which made it worse so it ended on I work for amazon from home and a bunch of us have made an online chat group. lmao @ChrisTurk you have a famous chat group now.

 

I tend to just stick with 'I do online work for Amazon'. Too many confused looks when I try to explain it.
