So what are they going to get off of the hacked doorbell that they can't see from standing in the street in front of your house?

I don't have cameras inside of my house (excepting the cell phones), but I do have a doorbell one. Because everyone can see the front of my house anyway.

Those doorbells would make me feel so exposed if I was a deliverer person. It'd probably scare the shit out of me if it started talking back
A couple years ago I was watching my bf's friend cat, and a few seconds after I walked in I heard a clicky sound but didn't know what it was, followed by some weird unidentifiable sounds I attributed to it being an old house filled with electronics humming. After several MINUTES of me talking/singing to his kitty I hear the disembodied voice of this dude just say "hey" - I have never been so simultaneously startled and embarrassed.
