Man, Perr's dedication to sniffing out puns will never fail to amaze me. I for sure thought those were hidden enough. Such a gluten for punishment.

 

Overall not worth it for me. The in-laws are also very low-effort kitchen folk. I once made a really simple side for Thanksgiving and they were blown away and asked what was in it. I was rattling off ingredients and said garlic, and his mom said something like "oh, real garlic, not powdered? Like the minced garlic in jars?" and I said nah bb real real garlic, like in cloves that I minced. She lost her mind, like that was the fanciest shit she'd ever heard of - you minced your own garlic?? Like I was Ina saying I grew the garlic in homemade compost made from the shit of ponies I bred and raised feeding them oats I also grew myself and also I forged the knife I used to mince it.

 

How do you keep poop off of her clothes?

Because if you have those magical powers I want them. Kiddo had the shittiest onesies ever.

I notice CT is avoiding that post. Probably his worst nightmare. Poop everywhere. Basically, kid goes into the bath tub.

But then he'd have to disinfect the entire tub and stall.

 

I've always loved garlic, and when I came to age and started doing my own grocery shopping, I remember not wanting to get garlic because roommates at the time would probably eat it and thinking it's so expensive and I can't afford it.

Then I realized they're like 10 fucking cents a clove, and I never not have any anymore. Plus it lasts for friggin ever

garlic is awesome.

Fwiw, it also really depends which kitchenaid you get, because some don't have the power for bread/heavy pastry doughs. That jump from 250 to 325 to 525/600 to the pro one with the 1/1.3 hp are gonna make a big diff. The Bosch one is like 800 watts iirc? Makes sense it does well for bread dough I used to have a Viking with 800 and found it great for bread for that reason


I just really like talking about bread.

 

The one I grew up with was this one!



We had to sell it when times got tough (super super regret that, but it had to happen) but when I could afford another, I got a dark steel grey.
