    i never got the option on how much to transfer, but yes, i also did every 3 days

    i saw that on mine but i also got the confirmation email not even minutes later that it had been sent to my bank and it updated. so i think some confirmations might just be a bit slower than others?

    I mean, you can whip them or put them thru a ricer, but that would make them...whipped or riced rather than actually mashed >.>

    Next, someone gonna tell me they baked a potato when they actually semi-steamed it. No, I'm fine! I'm fine! Who cares about that kind of thing? Not me! I'm well adjusted!

    So you start with the masher then move to hand mixer? Because with either my hand crank mixer or my electric hand mixer I can see myself spraying potatoes everywhere.

    I wonder if mine is converted but only 50% lol. I signed up to the new system within minutes. Today I went on and had to withdraw money from Amazon Payments the old way lol. I selected every 3 days. I wonder what happened lol.

    Ain't no one got time to cook a potato in the oven, even with a potato stake. I simply am not home long enough in the evenings for that luxury if we hope to eat at a decent time.

    Microwaved/steamed potatoes, then mashed, it is for us. (Plus, huge waste of energy when they're being mashed anyway.)

    No, I drain them then put them back in the pan or a big bowl. When I make potatoes for my eldest (he hated lumps) I just mix them up and they get all mashed up. Add milk, butter, salt and pepper. Mix together and boom, done. They don't go everywhere if they're in a big enough bowl or pan.

    Good to know. Mine initiated sometime between 1-3 central, still no email. :dunno: I don't need it immediately or anything or I wouldn't have switched over already so just kind of interested to see how it plays out.

    CRISPY SKIN BAKED POTATOES ARE MY LIFE

    450 degrees, scrub that tater, poke a few holes, rub down in butter or oil and sprinkle liberally with kosher salt. Put directly on the rack and then come back like 90 minutes to 2 hours later. I maybe trained Matt to do this task for me.

    To each their own, tho. As always:emoji_grin:

    I make a little dish with olive oil, pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Then rub the potatoes down with a coffee filter. Then what you said.

    Ah. Yeah I have my great great grandmas still. I don't use it because at this point it should be in a museum, but it works. lol

    I wrap a potato in aluminum foil then toss it in for w/e the top result on google at the time tells me to.

    my girlfriend refuses to eat baked potatoes out of the microwave, even though they're perfectly fine when rubbed with oil and wrapped in wax paper.

    so I have to cook them in the oven for her =\

    she's a princess

    It's not like I don't love them. I'm old enough that until my 20s this is the only way we got baked potatoes!

    However, as I said, I don't have TIME to wait 2 hours for dinner when I get home. I like to eat before 8 pm! This isn't really a choice for me. If I was home all day hell yes I'd bake them more often.

    Plus, if I'm smashing them up I don't want to fire up the big oven for four servings of mashed potatoes, even though I adore mashed potatoes made form oven baked potatoes. I don't even boil the potatoes like we used to back before microwaves.

    my family when growing up always did baked potatoes in microwave. They're perfectly acceptable to me, and takes 5 minutes.
