Yeah, I told the dealer to hold off on all the work they said needed to be done. It's in there for an airbag recall (and their initial estimate included charging me for that too - I told them to go and have a nice chat with Ford, thank you very much), so they'll do that and then I'll go to the independent mechanic up the road and see what they say.

I have no doubt that the work needs to be done, but a week before Christmas and on the same day we got quoted for all the plumbing work - I'll cross my fingers and trust nothing breaks on my car in the next two weeks.
