    @es1989 The news here is "warning" us to make sure we get the flu shot once again, yet here I sit with a 25 yr old and a 15 yr old and we have purposely never got the shot and also never gotten the flu.

    Yeah, as someone with an autoimmune disease, it's not really about you stopping yourself from getting the flu, but by not receiving the shot, you're making it harder for babies, older folks, and people with compromised immune systems to stay healthy.

    You can fight it off, but those people can't, and it's all about herd immunity.

    We get our flu shots every year, but this year I guess was pretty aggressive.

    Sometimes, not recently. I'm generally pretty healthy. I probably had it 1-2 years ago.

    I also rarely leave my house.
