Yeah... I'm only rooting for some of these obscure teams and bowl games based on a) whether it is a bowl that has to do with lawnmowers/bad boys, b) if I have a shot at it getting me out of 11th place in my pick 'em or c) if it's my college or d) if there is a parade made of flowers

I think it's all just experience/exposure. I'm a millennial and had no idea what a boomer is until like a week ago, and while I could guess what porch pirate is, it's not a thing I would ever have used in conversation. Ring is just a brand tho

You live in Wisconsin I think? Depending where you are it is very likely the Ring doorbell camera or people stealing things off your porch will not find its way there for another 10 years or so.
We always switch off Satellite radio when we cross the border into the Midwest (heading west not far after Buffalo) and just listen to the "current hits" because it is almost always classic rock

My husband's about 18 years older than me and he was shocked to find out that he's a Boomer according to all the surveys.

 

Don't worry too much about leafs, he's Canadian which we all know mean he doesn't have real human emotion. But for real, idk what he was referring to but it was almost certainly just a joke.

My championship is 2 weeks of this week & next week and I'm already sighing over my next week lineup with all my players who are injured.

I'm currently behind by 46 points (ouch), BUT I have Boone and Aaron Jones and I'm ready to give my soul to satan in exhange for enough points to close the gap to a reasonable distance so I have a remote shot next week. Seriously gonna be so annoyed if I go 12-1, only to lose in the last matchup of the season. NOOOO!
