    I think it depends on the area. The witnesses around here are brave and I saw them in our less reputable areas a lot growing up. I was DEEP in the heart of it and they would waltz on through. Nobody gave them guff either. Like even the people who were generally on the list of 'avoid that house' were friendly with them.
