    3. you are not allowed to turk on a family members account - that's against the terms of service.

    1. Yes, you can transfer that money out.
    3. You set it up with a bank account/routing # of your own, unless you're sharing bank accounts, it shouldn't matter. If they were able to withdraw through Amazon Payments fine, they should be able to withdraw through this new bank system fine with separate accounts.

    You can do lower paying hits without sinking to that level. I was referenced them to show that some hits will always be low paying, not to say I was doing them. Mostly though, it was sarcasm. I attempted to engage you with the type of humor you seem to prefer, which I clearly read wrong. Still, dropping your expected from say $11/hr to say $8/hr is still well within minimum wage in parts of the US and will boost the number of things you have to do considerably, which, while perhaps not being a huge deal, will help you feel productive as you have done SOMETHING other than stare at the screen. Numbers are like video game trophies. They're personal goals, meaning or no meaning. Goals help with productivity.

    I must have insulted you in some way I didn't mean to, given the visceral reaction. My sarcasm was a friendly joke and I apologize if you saw it as an attack. Chalk it up to a misfire of communication.

    This was the intention of the original post. I followed it up with a misfired sarcastic joke though and that's where things got off the rails.

    No it isn't, because you aren't accounting for self-employment taxes. Nor are you accounting for the time you spend looking for work and sifting through garbage. 7.25/hr as minimum wage is also very swiftly becoming an oudated concept going into 2020, even in more rural areas.

    It paid more than I was expecting.
    Cons:

    I honestly forgot though. something like - Perhaps I'm encouraging requesters to pay poorly, perhaps I'm contributing to turkerview, or perhaps I'm making money instead of wasting my time
