Thanks Dan. Well currently I'm using Hit Finder on Mturk Suite and Jr. Panda crazy. Was doing great there but can't catch the Panda immediately from Hit Finder. Have to accept hit then hit goes to Jr.. What is this Hit Scraper. Yes not sure why my Hit catcher not working on Hit finder. Maybe too many scripts?

hit scraper is a term used to describe a script or software or extension or whatever the heck that scrapes the mturk page of HITs on a frequent basis so you are constantly shown an influx of all of the newly posted HITs.

hit finder is an example of this.

 

I haven't used scraper in 6 years of doing this, just PC pretty much. I thought using pc and a scraper meant more of those errors and then warning emails from mturk.

 

Fwiw, when I'm doing things at a normal temp (that is, aiming for 78/79 degree dough temp), I do about 4-5 hours rise with all my stretch and folks/mixing/etc within the first 90 minutes. Basically, as long as my dough has risen enough and passes the finger dent test (when you poke 2 fingers in your dough to test how fermented it is- your finger mark should still be there, but springing back slowly. If it goes away fast and immediately springs back = not enough fermentation. if your fingers leave a hole that isn't springing back= over fermented), I move onto my my shaping and bench resting phase, usually about an hour if its warmish, more like 90 minutes if the house is cold- this will be variable based on factors like flour/hydration/room temp/ etc, and then I toss that bad boy in a searing hot dutch oven and make a sacrifice to the gods of gluten and oven spring and hope it doesn't look like trash when I take the dutch oven lid off!

 

I mean do what works fine for you,
but anyone who is making a respectable amount of money on mturk is almost certainly using a scraper and not using mturk.com search to find HITs.

but if you're satisfied with not using one, then that's fine.

 

I use these exact same 2 and nothing else and I never get warning emails from mturk anymore like in the past.

 

I make around 15-18k a year. Guess I'll try a scraper this year. But do you use PC with it?
