    they're basically done. I just have to write a letter asking the IRS to waive a penalty because my husband is an idiot and that we've put measures in place to prevent it from happening again. But until the husband actually DOES that, I don't want to write the letter because I don't want to lie to the IRS.

    I didn't do anything for my mTurk earnings last year....that and the penalty my husband incurred means we owe just over $500 to the feds and $200 to the state, and about $100 to Philly

    we owe money, so I have to send them a check (account I'm paying from doesn't have a card of any kind attached to it) and we have to send in a special letter begging for forgiveness (request for waiver of penalty) so it's not really easy to efile them.

    plus it makes more work for the IRS and since I hate them...it's passive aggressive for me :D
