01/23 - Three Four Thursday!

Do you have an old fuel-oil powered furnace?
Here is some incredibly valuable advice, and for today only it's absolutely free!
(I'm actually going to be completely serious here.)
Here's the deal. The tank for your fuel has built up a bunch of sludge on the bottom.
Normally it just sits there and causes no harm.
But when your fuel is delivered and blasted into the tank, this sludge gets all stirred up.
It then gets sucked into your furnace, which will start running badly or not at all.
This situation allows your service provider a lot of 'flexibility' as far as telling you what's
wrong, how much it's going to cost you, and whether you'll need to take out a bank
loan for an 'after hours' or 'emergency' call. It's almost certainly a simple matter of
replacing an inexpensive little nozzle, but you know.
So! Just make sure that your fuel delivery is set up such that someone can turn the
furnace off before it happens, and leave it off for a couple hours so the sludge can 'settle'.

 

Was too tired to make coffee this morning and went to grab my last emergency bird red bull. SOMEONE apparently took it this morning.

I mean, I don't want to over react here, but, I've strongly considered stomping down to his office and demanding he give it back.
