You're pretty much right, the ISP's took billions from the government to improve internet across the country, they pocketed the money and raised prices and followed that by installing data caps.

So there is still no fix to the chrome recorder (as far as I know because it hasn't been updated since the 27th according to the chrome store)

I found a way you can do the chrome tests on Firefox.

All you have to do is:

1. Accept the test in Chrome
2. Once the 15:00 timer starts, close out chrome
3. open firefox and log in to usertesting.com
4. Click the link they give you to go to the recorder screen
5. You should see a link to start the test. It will open the old usertesting.com recorder.

 

Of course we are, because that's what you're supposed to do.

 

I work for an ISP. We denied government money and expanded ourselves. We have built a fiber network that is growing every day and do 100M for $50. We do a lot of rural hard to reach areas too and offer up to 20M out there.

 

That's capitalism.

Make money, screw everyone else. When I was figuring out my bill with the phone compnay, the guy was lamenting they weren't allowed to charge by the mile from the substation for any tele-communication services anymore.
