hope everything turns out well. It is scary being responsible for other humans, especially when they are old enough to start breaking themselves (just put Urgent Care on speed dial)

What makes them think she has scoliosis? I really hope she doesn't, but if she does it's super fixable!

And in some cases you don't need to fix it. I have mild scoliosis. I've never bothered to get it fixed. I have more backaches than some and doing yoga is a great idea for me, plus chiropractic adjustments, but...it's not always a horror show! I'm super fine with it.

That encouragement offered...hugs. ANYTHING that goes wrong with our littles is terrifying. (Even when they aren't littles anymore...still terrifying!)

Oh my God! I'm so sorry! You're going to be 30!
(Of course I'm genuinely sorry you have more than your fair share of misery and frustration to deal with. You seem like a 4'9" (or whatever it is) 'tower of strength' the way you manage to keep your sense of humor and fun about 'life' in general.)
And I'm figuring you're probably going to give me a 'Boomer exemption' for the bad joke, since from my perspective the idea of turning 30 is like the stuff that dreams are made out of.
P.S. I don't think I mentioned yesterday that I honestly have it in my medical record that my 'reaction' to eating mushrooms is "Like a scene out of 'The Exorcist'" That's what I told my medical people way back when, and it's exactly how they recorded it!

I have moderate scoliosis, as well. It was a bit annoying growing up cause I did some sexy back brace time and my back is gross feeling most days, but I think I do alright enough all things considered! Life is pretty good. And Matt's coworker has it much worse than me and went thru all the braces and surgical stuff and he's a (private) pilot & an aero engineer living his best, albeit slightly hunched life. We like to joke about being the hunchbacks of the antelope valley.
