I don't know what @Kayashi's source was, but Denmark was second and Canada was first (which is why I was joking about it). But yes, Canada, Den, Sweden, Finland, Switz, etc are often among the top 10 countries in these rankings.

Plus FOUR DOGS.

Animal control won't come get them if they're in the house (says that's our problem, we have to haul them into the animal control place ourselves...which is hard to do with scared dogs). So we had to kick them out to roam the streets then call Animal Control to report roaming dogs and hope they come pick them up

We only have one Animal Control officer, so they just don't have the resources to come get animals that are in a house. And we have no contact info for the tenant (numbers have been changed) so...ugh. I hate crappy pet owners! Not to mention the dogs have been in there for days without humans judging by what we saw.

 

Hope you had a sizeable pet deposit
