Oooh, yeah, the suspiciously quiet is never good! I will try--he makes it tough. I always feel terrible for ignoring him when I'm working. Some days, he's very chill. Others...not so much. Today is a 'not so much' day.

I got a $3.00 mystery bonus today. don't know who it's from because I'm not logged into email. don't care, it's awesome.

 

A frozen Kong stuffed with wet food, dog treats, fresh fruits/veggies, or really whatever you have (that dogs can eat and will freeze right) works wonders for those moments.

OH, that is GENIUS! I might even have Kong toy around here that will hold treats--he was never interested in it, but if stuffed with wet dog food...that might be a huge winner!

This is the one my dog has. He absolutely loves it. He did learn how to bang it against the floor to make the food bits fall out, but even that takes him some time. Also, very grateful that I do not have carpet for those moments.
