Damn today is slammin, kinda mad I overslept .

 

That person is right, though. Losing that much weight in 2 weeks is incredibly unhealthy. If you knew you had a wedding to attend, you should've maybe started working on losing weight sooner if it means that much to you.

 

They know it's safe and won't get their jaw broken through a screen.

 

I mean, you can manipulate water intake to cut that type of weight in 2 weeks. Boxers and Bodybuilders do it all the time. But it should be done under the monitoring of a doctor.

 

My advice is to not be defensive of people giving you solid advice.
Keep an open-mind.

 

I'm having a exceptionally slow morning, but then again there's days I see people posting about it being slow and I'm having a great morning so

 

A boxer or a bodybuilder isn't your average person who needs to be at a wedding in two weeks and their dress is unflattering.

 

Problem is people feel free to say stuff on Facebook and online in General they would never say in person. I would like to think this is because when online they lack the social ques from other people that they are crossing a line but sometimes it is just because they are a**holes and have found it is safe to bully from a keyboard

I find that it's usually best to ignore people who keep saying it's slow. It's usually repeat offenders who don't make much in the first place, or new people who don't know yet how to best utilize the tools they have. I've been having a decent week myself. Already halfway to goal before noon.

I agree, but I'm sure the OP in that hypothetical situation knows it's unhealthy and doesn't care. They probably realize they should have got started sooner. So they're not likely to have an a-ha epiphany moment when someone shares unsolicited advice. They probably only want to hear from someone who has lost ten pounds in a short period of time in the past and can share what worked for them.

For me, accountability partners have worked awesome for me in the past. I know it works, so it's a solid plan to implement the strategy again. When I need advice, I ask for it. It's like when I goto a restaurant. If I ask the server for substitutions, it's because I've had it that way before and liked it. So all I want to know is can they do it. If I want to know if the server thinks the substitution will taste good, I'll ask that.
