    Gonna be honest that is some pretty bad advice from a doctor. Being tired all the time could be a sign of something actually wrong (not saying it is, pls don't take my medical advice I am dumb)

    For the longest time, I thought I was lazy/being worthless.... until the doctor told me I have (what she called) situational insomnia

    Every so often I'll go for 2 or 3 months sleeping like...2-4 hours a night if I'm lucky.

    She offered me medicine but I declined because F that, I'm tough and will deal with it like an adult...by watching Spongebob for 4 hours a night while everyone else is asleep.

    You should go see a real doctor. Being tired all the time is incredibly uhhh, not normal. It might also have something to do with the amount of caffeine you drink but also I'm not a professional. You should totally see one of those.

    I did want to discuss, like I appreciated what you said about tones being mistaken. I was curious about other people's thoughts on this sort of thing occurring in forums. But I wasn't looking for advice on how I personally should deal with it. Just general discussion on the phenomenon of unsolicited advice.
