    Usually if a person is giving you advice, it's because they think it's the proper and right thing to do. They're trying to help you in their own way. Getting overly defensive when someone is simply trying their best to help you just seems even more rude than the unsolicited advice.

    Yeah, I would really suggest that. I had what I thought was anxiety/panic attacks but every time I told my doctor he told me I was basically lying in an attempt to get pills. Even after I said I didn't want medication...I just wanted to figure out what the issue was. Like...if it was something more serious.

    I finally swapped doctors and my new one had me keep track of things for a few months (since it happened randomly for seemingly no reason) and she helped me get things sorted out. Don't suffer if you feel something is wrong just because some doctor ignored you.
