Who wants that 7.25 survey? It took me 35 minutes. I have another one in my queue somehow.

apparently not for MANY workers.. considering how many seem to disagree.. with the 'obvious' questions


which goes to the heart of the 'why even crowdsource' or 'why not go quald with like-minded raters'

search is inherently subjective, rating things is inherently subjective... no matter how many examples one shows..

this is where the power of crowdsourcing lies: in trying to understand how the majority of people feel it *should* be...

presumably pinterest is here to improve their platform, their search, and making sure they have rich content which easy to find....

but if they have a very insular view of what 'correct' means, (like hub pages) or a view which is only 'obvious' to some folks, it seem to defeat the purpose entirely.... theyll end up with search results which arent improved, but exactly what they said it should be...... which might not be what actual people (i.e. workers on mturk) judge is correct.

 

Well if you don't like them just don't do them. And they don't actually want an opinion anyways.. Honest I think that if they could get an AI to do it they likely would..

Meh I'm not going to get into a heated fight here.. It won't end well most likely lol.. And I want to go to bed anyways..
