When 1st shift is at work, second shift sleeps. AFter the shift change, the bunks are then used by first shift.

it's called "hot bunking" cause you come back to a warm bunk.

Since we've been mentioning Indians, FWIW, if any of you enjoy sit-com television that's about real people just dealing with life, you should check out some of the TV series available on 'Dice Media' on youtube. Very entertaining stuff IMHO.
