I learned touch-type QWERTY when I was 12 and my cerebral pathways will not be remapped at this advanced age.

The only Apple I knew about in middle school was the kind I couldn't eat due to having braces.

Apple was, technically, a company when I was in middle school but we hadn't heard of it yet, despite me growing up just down the road from Silcon Valley. (Which probably wasn't even that when I was in Middle School).

Heck. The biggest thrill when I was a tween (also was not a word back then) was being asked to go to the office and run off some dittos. I still miss the smell of a fresh dittoed paper. And that lovely purple ink.

I found out that I was HIGHLY allergic to that purple ink in fifth grade. Teachers had to make special copies for me so I wouldn't break out in hives.
