God no!

 

waves and curls need lots of moisture. I follow the curly girl method. Took about 2-3 months for it to adjust but now it's pretty easy.

In that graduation pic it was professionally cut and layered and colored so that super helped it look nice. And I spent about 60 minutes carefully applying product and drying it with a cold blow drier to get the curls to "freeze" into place. My graduation was in San Francisco, kinda known for its wet weather, so they had to be locked into place so I didn't look like an unraveled q-tip while walking the stage, lol.
