I made it all the way to college with the thought process of "Why do pregnant chicks always shower together? It's gross".

It wasn't until freshman year that somebody finally explained that the mother to be was being showered with gifts. That made a lot more sense.

showering with a bunch of random people sounds more fun than baby showers are for me. i totally support people who enjoy them and i get it, it's just not my thing. i sent along my gift with another friend so that's all taken care of, and i can shower alone. win win.

And legit: we have a dispensary here called Cookies. That would be the place to set up in my town! when it first opened there was a humongous line, and police had traffic diverted (I kid not) and I was very confused not knowing what Cookies sold. I was thinking, "Huh, gotta get me some of those cookies!" Then I looked it up. oooooohhhhhhh. Edibles!

Apparently it's a chain. Of dispensaries. I love the new economy.

 

both of those are my go-to choices too, but one year they had these lemon somethings... savannah smiles? i haven't seen them since and nothing similar has compared, and i think of them fondly, frequently.
