If any of you more mature teenagers would like to tell me that the incredibly invasive procedure used for checking out one's 'large gut' for problems isn't as bad as I think, I'd appreciate it. I recently did a much easier screening procedure, and just got a call from the Doc saying it was 'positive'. So apparently I can't avoid the horror show any longer. I'm kind of freaking out.

 

The worst part is the colon blow.

 

The sooner you get it taken care of, the sooner you can stop freaking out. Knowing that the problem is resolved is miles better than panicking because the problem exists.

I think they put me out. Either that or I was so out of it that time ceased to exist anyway. I got apple juice and toast after, which was nice. Honestly, I would have zero issues or anxiety about having one again. From my experience, it was nothing.

 

Isn't it just a finger up the butt? Just go get some lube and have at yourself so that you're used to it before the doctors get around to you.
