A friend of mine is preparing for the end of days and buying a ton of masks and various doomsday stuff online because everywhere he goes is sold out too. All I can think of is that at least I know where to go for resources when the zombie apocalypse starts.

most healthcare facilities stockpiled them already. the EMS friend of mine said the local hospital had bought PALLETS of them when this was first announced.

I was going to go buy a pack of 3 N95 (not the type healthcare workers use, honestly) due to the fact that I planned to do some indoor painting next month and I always wear those when painting. Now I'm afraid I can't get any for home DIY projects!

lol buying them online seems a bit stupid considering a lot of this is going to be shipped in from China. We just got enough supplies to last a couple weeks if something happens. It's all stuff we would use normally anyways.

Have you seen what the Today show recommended? Like five weeks of freaking supplies! I looked around and thought...huh...got that for the pets but I'm pretty sure I ain't got 5 weeks of food for me and a teenage boy.

With that stuff on the news of course people are freaking out. I'm super zen about this kind of stuff and even I wanted to rush out and buy all the things after seeing that news report. (Though, I am going to go buy a lot of toilet paper and hit up Costco this weekend, but that's because I found $50 in gift cards in my purse I completely forgot about. I'm just letting $50 of Costco goodness molder in the bottom of my purse!)
